Air Conditioning and Refrigeration
The Air Conditioning and Refrigeration system was created to prepare people for work in industry as heating ventilation ac refrigeration specialists. This program puts an emphasis on safety, thermodynamic principles, fundamental electric and refrigeration principle and their applications to certain forms of HVAC/R gear. Students receive learning troubleshooting and solution strategies had a need to install, service, and repair many types of gear.
Particular equipment training includes, it is not limited to, domestic and light commercial air conditioning, heat pumps, gasoline home heating, electric home heating, commercial ice makers, and commercial refrigeration. Pupils will even receive training in guidelines governing proper refrigerant maneuvering processes per the Environmental coverage Agency (EPA) Regulations. Students completing the air conditioning and refrigeration program is going to be required to participate in credentialing tasks eg EPA part 608 Refrigerant Handling, R-410a Refrigerant Safety Certification, business Competency Exam (ICE), and NOCTI.
